The Science.

The Experience.

The Work.

I didn't arrive here because I read the right books. I arrived here because I have spent the better part of two decades working alongside people at the highest highs and the lowest lows. Their circumstances were drastically different. The human experience was not. Doubt, overwhelm, fear, burnout. Those don't check credentials before they show up.

That has looked different at different points in my life. It looked like frontline social work: foster care, substance abuse treatment, case management with people rebuilding their lives after incarceration. Work that taught me things no degree ever could. What chronic stress does to a human body. How survival mode reorganizes a person's entire relationship to themselves. What it takes to move someone from managed desperation toward something that actually resembles a life.

It also looked like 12 years inside corporate organizations, in learning and leadership development, watching a different kind of depletion unfold in real time. Capable, competent, contribution-driven women holding everything together at work and at home, performing flawlessly, and quietly losing contact with themselves in the process. The stakes looked different. The physiology was identical.

"The women I work with aren't failing. The structures they're operating inside of are failing them. My job is to help them see that clearly, and then do something about it."

Ember & Aura Coaching is the intersection of everything I have learned across those two decades. I bring the nervous system science, the somatic methodology, and the academic grounding. I also bring the lived experience of having been in rooms with people at every point on the spectrum of human exhaustion. I know what burnout looks like before it becomes a crisis. I know how to name it precisely. And I know how to build a path forward that doesn't require you to white-knuckle your way through it.

You don't need someone who will validate how hard it is. You need someone who can tell you the truth about what's happening, and then actually help you build something different. That's what I'm here for.

Education & Training

  • MA in Human Resources Management

  • BA in Human Relations, Doane University

  • Pursuing ACC accreditation through The Coach Approach, an ICF-accredited program

  • Three-part workshop series in Integrative Somatic Parts Work, Embody Lab, in progress

My approach is grounded in nervous system science and somatic methodology. I am not a therapist or clinician. I am a coach with serious academic grounding, clinical training in progress, and the credibility of having been in this room before.
